She is named for Polaris, the brightest star in the Winter Solstice constellation. Her red felt dress is hand beaded with teal, white, red and gold glass seed beads, as are her earrings. Moccasins are glass seed beads as well. Her hair is genuine sable horse tail. Gold metal bells adorn her cape and hem of skirt. Doll body parts are brown broadcloth, machine sewn and attached by hand sewing. Star is 10" tall and has an 8" arm span.
